HISTORIAE MUNDI: A HISTORY OF THE KNOWN WORLD is a collection of stories, legends, maps, and illustrations detailing the history of the fantasy setting for the ARTESIA graphic novels, the novels THE BARROW and BLACK HEART. It expands on the historical information about the setting contained in the ARTESIA: ADVENTURES IN THE KNOWN WORLD Roleplaying Game, presented in a system-neutral sourcebook to entertain, inform, and potentially inspire anyone interested in fantasy worldbuilding, regardless of their interest in the comics and novels. It includes an extensive timeline (built on the timelines in ARTESIA ANNUAL #3) and a glossary to help map and explore the kingdoms, empires, and cultures of a diverse and complex fantasy setting.
